IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON PRE-ORDERS

– PARENTS CAN PRE-BOOK BY PAYING 50% OF TOTAL AMOUNT USING THE CODE SPB50 IN THE BOOKING FORM. BEAR IN MIND THAT THE BALANCE WILL HAVE TO BE PAID BEFORE 1ST OF JUNE 2025. PAYMENTS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE IF FOR ANY REASON THE PARENTS DECIDE NOT TO ATTEND THE PROGRAM.

– PLACES ARE LIMITED DUE TO BOTH THE SINGULARITY OF THE
PROGRAM AND ALSO THE FACILITIE’S CAPACITY. THEREFORE,
PAYMENT FOR THE PROGRAM DOES NOT GUARANTEE A PLACE.

– IF WE ARE OVERSUBSCRIBED FOR THE PROGRAM, OUR
COACHES WILL GIVE PREFERENCE TO EARLY BOOKINGS
AND WILL ALSO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT AGE GROUPS TO DELIVER
HIGHEST PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS OF OUR SOCCER PROGRAM.

-IN THE CASE THAT YOUR APPLICATION IS NOT ACCEPTED
A FULL REFUND WILL BE ISSUED

– PLAYERS WHOSE APPLICATIONS HAVE NOT BEEN GRANTED
FOR THIS YEAR’S PROGRAM WILL HAVE PRIORITY BOOKINGS
FOR FUTURE PROGRAMS.

– THE OVERALL RUNNING OF THIS PROGRAM WILL BE IN
ACCORDANCE WITH SOCCER PRO BARCELONA POLICY.

Our policy applies to all staff and volunteers working for SOCCER PRO BARCELONA. We practice safe recruitment in checking the suitability of staff and volunteers to work with children.

SOCCER PRO BARCELONA is open to children between the ages of 6 to 16.

SOCCER PRO BARCELONA will deliver the activities from 10-14pm from monday to friday and will not be responsible for any child left unsupervised outside these hours.

SOCCER PRO BARCELONA reserves the right to make date/venue changes if necessary. SOCCER PRO BARCELONA will run according to government guidelines and may change its programme in order to adhere to same. In the event that the camp is not permitted to run due to Health Guidelines in relation to COVID19 SOCCER PRO BARCELONA will cancel the program and no refund will be given.

SOCCER PRO BARCELONA reserves the right to hire local coaches to assist our team of professional coaches. Normally these assistant coaches will help the younger age groups, such as the 6-8, 9-10 and 11-12 age groups.

SOCCER PRO BARCELONA is not an official FC Barcelona camp, but a program designed and delivered by former FC Barcelona players, who teach the methodology that they learned during their football careers.

In the event of poor weather we may need to suspend the camp and request you to collect the children early. In the event of the camp being suspended we will contact you. No Refund will be given.

In the event that due to unexpected causes some of our coaches or some of the former players who should initially deliver the program, are unable to do so, SOCCER PRO BARCELONA, as far as possible, will try to replace these former players / coaches, by other coaches, also with UEFA license and who have been trained following this model. In any case SOCCER PRO BARCELONA is committed to carry out the program with the highest levels of quality and therefore there will be no refunds in these cases.

No refunds will be given for cancellations of any kind ( bad weather, covid, etc.)

If SOCCER PRO BARCELONA has to cancel the program due to lack of enough bookings, a full refund will be given.

The applicant agrees that SOCCER PRO BARCELONA and / or their employees will not be held responsible for any accidents or loss of personal property, however caused. Any participant whose conduct is deemed by the camp manager to be detrimental to the best interest of the programme will be dismissed-no refund will be made. The use of mobile phones are not permitted in SOCCER PRO BARCELONA, except in exceptional situations where approval has been requested from a staff member. SOCCER PRO BARCELONA reserve the right to modify or delete any activity in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Places are allocated on first come first served basis. Permission is granted to seek medical treatment in the event of an accident. A confirmation email or text will be sent as proof of booking. Payment is regarded as acceptance of the booking conditions. Photographs/Videos may be taken for promotional use.

SOCCER PRO BARCELONA employees accept and recognise their responsibilities regarding the safeguarding of children and will endeavour to carry these out by:

-Having an awareness of the issues which cause children harm;

 – Following the procedures and protocols set out in this document for the recruitment and   selection;

– Being proactive in implementing this policy in so far as it is appropriate to their work.

Welfare is paramount in all decisions, activities and programmes involving vulnerable / young people and children and SOCCER PRO BARCELONA will provide safe spaces for them, ensuring they are safeguarded, physically and emotionally, in a healthy fun environment.

Actively listen to them, taking account of their expression of needs and concerns.

Value and respect them as individuals.

Involve them in decisions made about them, is as participative and appropriate manner as possible.

SOCCER PRO BARCELONA does not accept the following behaviours and will intervene to ensure the fair and equitable treatment of all children:

 Bullying.

Violence.

Sarcasm, name-calling, ‘Slagging’, and other forms of scapegoating.

Favouring some to the exclusion of others.

 Abusive language or gestures.

Negative criticism of young people’s values, beliefs and opinions.

Negatively highlighting physical, social or emotional differences.

The code of behaviour is categorised under the following headings:

  • Child-centred approach
  • Good practice
  • Appropriate behaviour
  • Physical contact
  • Health and safety

The host families commit to:

– Care for all players they host in their homes, providing them with Full Board and all travel to and from the training camps which runs Monday through Friday between 10am and 2pm. Schedules may change slightly during the program.
– The host family will launder all training clothes of the players they host on a daily basis.

– Host families will perform this hosting function free of charge, in exchange for being able to enroll one of their children free of charge in our program.

– Families can choose to host for 1 or 2 weeks, with priority given to families who host for 2 weeks.

– Players usually arrive in Ireland on a Sunday and return to Spain on a Saturday, 13 days after their arrival. The soccer program runs for two weeks. 

 

– All transfers from arrival to the destination city will be provided free of charge by the host families.

– To have the home in optimal conditions of cleanliness and security, so that the players are comfortable during their stay in Ireland.

– All family members over 16 years of age, who interact with the players must pass a police check (Garda Vetting) in order to perform the functions of host family. In this control, at the home of the host family, they will be required to show a photo ID (passport, driving license …) and proof of residence, which may be an utility bill, or any other document that serves for this purpose. In this sense and after validation of the documents, Soccer Pro Barcelona will send them an online invitation to register in the Irish vetting services to finish the police control by the Irish police.

– The host families will provide a contact telephone number in case of emergency.
